DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES

The BSI PHP is determined to reintegrate emotionally troubled youth back into the mainstream of society with self-confidence and improved personal values and beliefs.
FEATURES OF THE PROGRAM
Strength Based Assessments
The DTAC Partial Hospitalization Program is an intensive multi-disciplinary treatment program which provides an alternative for a young person who requires specialized behavioral and clinical intervention to keep them in school, and to prevent acute inpatient hospitalization and out of home placements. Since most emotional and family problems are influenced by individual and environmental factors, our partial program maximizes effectiveness by working clinically with the clients' support systems. i.e., families and teachers, under medical supervision.
THE PROGRAM PHILOSOPHY
THE TREATMENT PROGRAM
The DTAC PHP is designed to serve elementary, middle and high school individuals between the ages of 5 and 18 who manifest emotional, behavioral and developmental problems. The program offers a unique and sequential model of clinical interventions that includes three phases of treatment. Each phase contains specific and measurable outcomes in treating the student and family. Students and families progress at their own pace depending upon factors such as severity of emotional problems, family dynamics, and motivation.
